Clive Stacey, managing director of the British travel agency Discover the World, wrote a letter to Icelandic Minister of Industry Katrín Júlíusdóttir to complain about the airline Iceland Express, urging the ministry to look into the airline’s operations.
In the letter, which was made public last week, Stacey says that in the past few years his agency’s clients have suffered a number of inconveniences because of the company, visir.is reports. CEO of Iceland Express Matthías Imsland said the airline is in a dispute with Discover of the World, because, among other reasons, the travel agency hasn’t paid the airline’s invoices and that accusations made by the agency’s executives must be considered in light of that dispute.
